Course Title: Persuading and Negotiating Skills

Those who may need to negotiate with a wide range of colleagues, customers or clients at all levels. The programme introduces delegates to a wide range of skills and processes to achieve results.

- Tutor and candidate introductions.
- Agreement of Objectives/Learning Logs.
- Define and Understand the term ‘Negotiation’.
- Understand the basic 4 Step Model which leads to successful Negotiations.
- Prepare thoroughly and professionally for any Negotiating situation.
- Understand the need to achieve a ‘Win-Win’ situation.
- Understand the TECHNIQUES used by Effective Negotiators.
- Understand and practise the key SKILLS used by Effective Negotiators.
- Identify strengths and improvement areas as they apply to theirown working environment.
- Take part in practise negotiating sessions and receive feedback.
- Build their confidence in their own skills.
- Produce an Action Plan for implementing the skills used during the Workshop.
